What are some ways to make perfume last longer? any tips about perfume?

Should I spray it on my clothes? My hair? Spray on while my skin is still damp from the shower? on my wrist?

Expensive perfume will last longer. I wear Chance by Chanel, and it smells good all day. I wear the eau de toilette, but if you get the parfum it is like a higher concentrate and it will last longer.





I spray one spritz on my hair, one on my chest, sometimes on my clothes and wrists. Usually if I am using a cheaper body spray (Bath%26amp;Body Works) I'll spray it all over... jeans, shirt, hair, neck, etc.

Perfume should be used sparingly. It is best when you have to be close to smell it. Not everyone loves your scent as much as you do, especially in an elevator or other crowded or close quarters.





Dab on a good quality perfume behind the knees and at the ankles. The scent will waft up and not be overwhelming.





If you use a spritz or spray use the ';spritz, pause, walk away'; method. Give one quick pump into the air in front of your body. Pause one second and then walk through the mist.





Do not spray clothes or hair. Clothes can stain from the oils or alcohol in the perfume and using it like hairspray mean people often use way too much of it.





Remember - sexy is a single feather, pornography is the whole chicken.... in other words, subtle is sexier.





Also, a lot of men actually find perfume off-putting. It covers up the natural phermones that naturally attract partners to you.
The best place to spray perfume is on your ankles. The smell goes upward so that it doesn't really go away.
Use a body wash with the same fragrance, or a body lotion.


Example, I use Curious Body wash, and Curious purfume. It smells good all day. I dab a little on my wrist and a little behind my ears.


You could also try just using a lotion to smell good all day. It lasts alot longer than liquid perfume does.
Layer it with the body lotion if there is one for the scent you wear. If not use an unscented lotion. The layering helps the fragrance last longer.

I just bought some perfume and I asked that same question to the lady at the store and she told me to put it in the ice box! I know it sounds crazy, because I looked at her like ';What?'; but it really does work!
I absolutely hate it when people wear too much fragrance. No one wants to smell you as you walk by, good or bad. Real perfume is strong and the longer you wear it the less you can tell what is too much.





Spray the air and walk into a fragrance or dab liquid on the pulse points (wrists, behind elbows or knees or ears but not all of them at the same time). If you must overdo it then use a body lotion or cream of the same scent as well. Less is more and should never overwhelm those around you. You just want to convey the essence of fragrance not make others want to dunk you in the river.
