Place the flowers into the water and leave to soak for 2 or 3 hours. The longer you leave them, the stronger the perfume will be. When the fragrance is at the strenghth you want, pour into a spray bottle if you have one, but any airtight bottle will be fine if you don't have a spray. You will have to check out allergy possiblities of each flower before you use them.How do you make home-made perfume?

Probably you will find useful to put in different cans and let some of them 21 days, if you let them near a windo still you can light some candles and let the sun and the moon spray their light over them and think about a very deep whish, yes a love whish can be and then carry the perfum for trying to make that dream come true, for this las thing, 7 or 21 days is the most recomended.
You can use this mix as well as a gift to some saint of your preference if you are Cristian or Catholic.

4) Bring some coffee beans with you in a small bag, every 5-6 perfumes, take a sniff of the beans to clear your nose

A lot of high end perfumes are strong, but a few of the Vera Wangs are nice and not to much. Another nice perfume is Usher, but again, not for everyone. Department stores like Macy's usually give little sample bottles so you could try one on each wrist and let the scent sink in as it can change over time. DO NOT try on a million perfumes at once, it will blend them all together and ensure your headache. hope this helped and good luck finding your perfume!

go for how it smells on you... usualy stores like nordstroms or macys will give you a small sample or let you return the perfume if you really dont like it or if its giving you a headache even sfter it is used. those type of stores usualy have the most selectin also for you to sample on youself. :]
I have some perfumes that i wish i hadnt of brought...when you try it, make sure you give it a chance to settle on your skin. Go to other shops or something, and then smell it in half an hours time. You may have liked it at first, but find you dont like it later on. It'll save you buying perfumes you'll go off of after you've brought them.
It's definitely how it smells on you... one thing i learnt is that most people rub their wrists together when applying it but that just bruises the smell... go spray it on yourself and see how it smells. everyone's skin reacts differently. I personally love DKNY and have never had any complaints!
its all about whether you like the smell or not! as far as im concerned i buy perfume strictly based on whether or not i like the scent. Im currently using 2 Curve-Chill and Victorias Secret-Sweet Seduction Both of these are cheap! Curve can be picked up at walmart for less than $10!

So I was looking online and I saw a perfume that seemed like it would appeal to me b/c I hate flowery scents. Many of the fragrances at the outlet are surplus from the companies, and many of them even come in un-used tester boxes that are actually cheaper than buying one in the original pacakaging. I'm searching a perfume (eau de toilette). I've visited some perfume shop, and the vendor girl (shopkeeper) had shown me a lot of perfume, but none of them matched me. Finally I came home without buying anything after spending an hour in the store, asking that vendor girl to show me 75% of her perfume stock. She's absolutely angry when I left the store.

There is an elderly lady in my office who wears perfume 100 years old and lots of it! The smell makes me nauseous, light headed, my nose burns, watery eyes, difficulty breathing, etc. I respect her very much and would never say anything to offend her. I have this issue a lot because of my allergies and asthma. i always tell people that I really like their perfum, but for some reason the really good ones always set off my allergies. Could she consider not wearing it, or at least not so much of it, because hers must be one of those good ones and it gets me every time. You have to be able to function in your workplace and management has to make reasonable adjustments if your health is compromised by your work conditons. Many offices have no fragrance policies just for this very reason. Also to note, the lady may not actually be wearing a lot of perfume, it could be that her body chemistry (or her body heat) is such that it intensifies the fragrance and would be like that no matter how little she wore. I've seen that happen before, too. Either way, she should be aware of that by now and know better.
I speak up nicely and say ';I'm allergic to some perfumes and that particular brand is making me ill'; I do that with smokers too.
'; just cough around her';..then write her a nice ....very nice...note
You can't. Everyone has a right to wear the perfume that they like. I sympathize with you, as I am very sensitive to smells, but it is just rude to expect someone to not wear the perfume they like just because it bothers you.
contact your HR dept. This is affecting your job, and she cannot wear overwhelming perfume to work like that. Don't go to her, go her superior/HR.

How can I get the (candle) perfume smell out of a rubber seal?
I picked up a cute little dish at a swap that has a lid with a rubber seal. It had the remnants of a candle in it (as it was sold originally) that were easy to clean out. I was going to use it for butter or salt but I can't get the perfumed smell out of the rubber seal. I've scrubbed it, washed it with plenty of soap and ran it through the dishwasher. Any suggestions? How can I get the (candle) perfume smell out of a rubber seal?
Try a little bleach, or soak it hot water with baking soda for a few hours.

Why does it smell like the perfume is burning?
I love the smell of my perfume and once in awhile I'll spritz the interior of my car. As of late, after spraying the perfume there's a burning odor that comes through the vent. It's not a pleasant smell, but it's never done that before. Is there something wrong with my air filter? Or is there something else I should be checking out?

thats a hard question...i like a lot of perfumes. it depends on your budget and what you personally like. go to a store call perfumania. they're in some malls, but they have the hugest collection of perfumes and you can test them out. i currently use the bijan collection and its wonderful...its light but sweet and sexy at the same time, and not too pricy

I don't know if they work or not, but I think part of why they seem to work is that people know they're wearing something that's supposed to make them more attractive. This makes the person more confident, which can make them seem more attractive.

You may try several types that other's have suggested. But the only way you can know for sure is to have someone with you, but a small amount on your forearm, wave it briefly to let the moisture begin to evaporate. Then let them smell it. Each perfume, and or cologne mixes differently with your natural body chemistry, so what is nice on one person, may be horible on another!

well if you are looking for a light and airy one Glow by jlo is really nice you can wear it every day and its not overpowering

Women exuding a cloud of perfume (or men with cologne) are offensive to many people. You can't taste your food in a restaurant if someone seated near you has overdone the fragrance thing. Many schools have outlawed all fragrance (some pepople have an allergic reaction to fragrance). Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear, but perfume is one of those things that is too easily overdone.
