I like to wear perfume sometimes, but the smell always seems to go away before I have a chance to even be near anyone. Is the smell fading away? Believe it or not it actually takes about 4-6 hours for a fragrance to fade. It may seem faded to you after 10-20 minutes because you've gotten used to the smell. Cologne does not last as long as perfume. You probably don't smell it after wearing it for a little while but the fragrance is still there. If you can get the body lotion that matches the fragrance it will be very complimentary.
