Here in Japan at the moment is a beautiful tree called a 'Kin-mokusei'. The best English translation is an 'orange coloured fragrant olive'. It is a gorgeous smell. I would love to take some of the buds and somehow make a perfume or oil I could wear. Does anyone know if this possible? I have to know soon because it doesn't bloom for long!How to make perfume oil from this tree?

Not sure but I bet it would smell wonderful!! maybe pressing the buds would squeeze out the oil's but I am sure you would need a lot of buds to fill a bottle though!! The person below me that is a good idea!! I wonder if that would work with lilac flowers also?
